MAJOR CLASS — TEXTILE ARTS
The Textile Arts major will be offered in Session 2 only.
Textile Arts students need to have an enthusiasm and desire to learn the processes involved in a variety of textile crafts.
Students will learn basic techniques, have the opportunity to explore and create unique designs, and use the processes in textile projects. This year’s textile arts skills may be chosen from: crocheting, sewing, applique, quilting, embroidery, cross stitching, needle felting, and others.
Students will be able to interject their own themes and ideas into the projects. Campers enrolled in the Textile Arts major should also select an elective.
