All majors except Photography I, Photography II, Digital Music, and Video Production will also select an elective course.
Introduction to Jazz Improvisation
Open to all students wishing to learn how to improvise. Instruction will include chordal structure and scale usage. All players must be able to read basic music notation.
Voice Class
Taught by a vocal instructor, the group will be introduced to the elements of voice control, diction, tone, and pitch. This is a great class for those students who would like to learn more about how to use their voice. Limited enrollment.
Tap
Introduction to tap. Student should bring loose clothing that allows them to move freely. Tap shoes are required.
